Rubrics – Digital Media – 2008-2009
Students must keep records of project assessments, and projects themselves, for the duration of the class that they may be used in other projects and available for review by teacher, student, and parents at any time. In the event that the projects and/or assessment documentation are not available, the teacher will use his own discretion in the project grade recorded for the final report card.
Extra credit is never offered. However, a student who learns from mistakes and feels that he/she can significantly improve his/her standing on a rubric may resubmit any assignment for consideration until two weeks before the last day of the semester.
All assignments are to be turned in using the following naming convention unless told otherwise by the instructor:
Period/_/short project name (parenthesis in the rubric)/_/first 5 letters of last name/_/first letter of first name/_/self assessed rubric score/_/version number (each submission of project gets a higher number)/./file format suffix
For example, if the instructor turned in the first project for the first time and did very well, the file name would be: 3_logo_schmi_r_50_1.jpg
