Tech Presence at MidCon
Michigan Tech faculty, staff and students participated in the annual Mid-Continent Conference on August 14th and 15th in Madison, Wisconsin. MidCon is co-hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Iowa State University and is held in Madison, WI and Ames, IA on alternating years. The conference showcases university research and current transportation initiatives. Michigan Tech representatives delivered seven presentations and one poster during the two-day conference. The University Transportation Center for Materials in Sustainable Transportation Infrastructure (UTC-MiSTI) sponsored a Michigan Tech exhibit, distributing a variety of publications including Michigan Tech Transportation Institute (MTTI) and UTC-MiSTI Research Project Summaries; CEE, UTC-MiSTI, Rail Transportation Program, LTAP and TTAP Newsletters; and Graduate Student recruiting material.
