TAN Travel Advantage Network:
This is a timeshare-like package that my parents purchased years ago. They didn't use any weeks so they wanted to cancel it to avoid paying the yearly maintenance fee. I felt it was a waste to cancel so I paid it for this year. Please feel free to use it if you would like! My plan is to use up as many weeks as possible this year and then canceling. The tricky part is that these are for week blocks at a time and usually start on a Fri/Sat/or Sun.
If you want to check and see the availability of places you can call 1.800.223.0088 X 3. Hopefully you can just check availability without knowing my account number. (If not, just let me know and I will give you my account number over the phone). There are currently 9 weeks available to use. Since I'm looking to cancel it before next years maintenance fee, travel must be completed by May 2008. If something is available that you like, just let me know and I can call for you to reserve it with your credit card.
The rules are somewhat confusing but below is a breakdown as far as I can understand.

Price Breakdown:
$89 Processing Fee (per unit/per week)
*Add $175 if Prime Season
*If you want a 2 bedroom or a 3 bedroom unit, add $175 per extra bedroom

Additional Inventory: These are additional properties that came about because people traded in their timeshares for weeks of TAN's timeshares.

Excess Inventory: Last minute inventory going up to 6 weeks out at a time. These don't use up the alloted number of weeks.

Price Breakdown:
$99 + usual $89 Processing Fee (per unit/per week) = $188 regardless if it's prime or non-prime season and whether there is 1 bedroom, 2, or 3.
