Yodio directions

By phone:

1.    Create account. (It’s free.)  Or, I will sign in for you and you can use my account. The website is: http://www.yodio.com/

2.    Go to web and download ONE image that you think represents your group. (the Lorax, a flower,  a padded cell, whatever.)  Save it to the desktop.

3.    On a piece of paper, write out a little script for yourself.   My name is XXX, I’m from XXXSCHOOL and I read XXX online. ( It could be the New York Times, it could be TMZ.com, that’s fine.

4.    Dial the number of your account.  Pass the phone around and everyone say your script.  When the LAST PERSON speaks, hit the # key to tell it you’re done.  

5.    It will then ask if you want to save. You do.

6.    Go to yodio.com.  Click on image and upload the image.   Click on audio and make sure your section is there. (name your section by the photo you’ve chosen ie.  Lorax)

7.    Go to CREATE YODIO.  You will go to image and drag over your image. Then you’ll go to audio and drag over audio. Then hit publish.

8.    You can share your podcast by going to SHARE and either copying the URL into an email/website or you can embed it into a webpage.
