Step 3. Setting up Delivery Options
There are many different configuration settings with Assessments.  Below are some of the most common to consider broken down by tab.

Other stuff to consider

Tests that are in Blackboard or WebCT format can be imported into BlueLine using the Import Wizard under the manage tab.  Textbook publishers may provide questions this way or provide software that lets you export into these formats.

After the Assessment Delivery

Individual results of the Assessment can be found under the Utilities menu for the Assessment by clicking the View, Grade, or Delete Submissions menu.

Also under the Utilities menu for the Assessment is the Pending Items link.  Once an Assessment is begun it goes into Pending Items until completed.  This can be useful to look at if a student says they took a test but you don't see results.

The Reports link for an Assessment lets you view and Item Analysis of the test.  For each question you will get a break down of the number of answer choices selected.

Once an Assessment has been viewed by students it is important to NOT edit any questions.  Doing so will break the Item Analysis link and can cause problems in the delivery to students.  You can use the Regrade option however to fix mistakes in the answer key, throw out a question, or give everyone full credit.  It is advisable however to wait until everyone has completed the Assessment before using the Regrade option.
