Daily Needs Exercise (10 Points)

Abraham Maslow devised a hierarchy of needs to explain why people are more motivated to excel in some behaviors more than others. In this exercise, you will record the behaviors that you engage in throughout the course of day (e.g., eating, sleeping, sex, working, exercising, studying, watching television, talking with friends/family, etc.). Be specific. For each behavior that you list identify which need, according to Maslow’s hierarchy, motivated that behavior and explain why. For example, one of your behaviors may be “eating breakfast”. Identify which level of the hierarchy that behavior falls on and why (do not put “because the book says so” as a rationale). I want to see at least 10 behaviors, with more than 10 resulting in up to 5 extra points, depending on thoughtfulness.
