Wes
Herbst, the inspiration behind Restoring Hope Transplant House and one
of the original founders, passed away on April 8th after a lengthy
battle with multiple myeloma.
The idea for Restoring Hope came
from the many trips Wes and the entire Herbst family made to Mayo
Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota during his brave fight in which they
frequently stayed at the Gift of Life Transplant House.
His
dream, along with the family, was to provide a similar home with
built-in community to future patients so that others would not be alone
in this medical journey.
With a dedicated Board of Directors,
the passion of his loyal family and the continued support of the
community, Wes Herbst's dream of opening Restoring Hope will live on!

Thirty Bucks for Life - Video
Restoring
Hope Transplant House has been blessed by the loyal support of so many
people in the transplant community. Lauren Waller is a transplant
survivor and a Friend of Restoring Hope. We thank her for taking the
time to share her story and for offering her support for the "Thirty
Bucks for Life" campaign.
The Transplant House turns away an average of 15 families per day who inquire about lodging for
themselves or a family member dealing with a serious illness requiring an
organ or bone marrow transplant. The cost of lodging for one night is $30.
We need you to give just $30 RIGHT NOW and to tap the amazing
power of your friends, family and associates.
