Olga BOLDYREFF

Born in 1957 in Nantes (France), of Russian parents. Lives and works in Nantes and a bit all over.

Training

1982  DNSEP (master degree in Fine art)

The first years

From 1983 to 1985, founded and led the workshop-gallery Cas d’Urgence (Urgent case) in Nantes alongside the artists J. Bannier, P. Cognée, J. Fléaca, M.O. Marchand, B. Plantive, O. Puibaraud, P. Raguideau

The British years

From 1985 to 1990, travels regularly to Great Britain, lives in Wales and receives a grant from the Welsh Arts Council, then comes back to France and organises as an artist two major events with the support of the British Council: Mind the Gap, a survey of young British art at the CRDC in Nantes, Anytime, Anywhere, a tribute to the English composer Cornelius Cardew at the Fine Arts Museum in Nantes.
