Mind – Body – Spirit connection!
I will keep reading books and educating myself on my current weight loss goal! In addition, I will continue to counteract my sabotaging thoughts regarding food, fairness, and what I deserve out of life.
Body:
Fitness:
To take at least 10,000 steps per day, and get my heart rate elevated for 30 minutes (at least 5 days a week), with an average of 144 BPM (this is based on my age), using my polar watch! Plus, three days a week, I will do strength training using my Power 90 DVDs.
Diet:
First two weeks I’ll use the Atkins diet, and then slowly add in carbs starting with green vegetables, then whole grains, and then fruits! By the end of 4/5 weeks I will do a body cleanse – not sure which one yet! After this, I will try to use a low calorie diet, with these ratios: Fat 20-35% Carb 45-65% Pt 10-35%, as according to my Fitday eating journal suggest!
Spirit:
I will take time every day to reflect, be quit, refocus my energy on the things I am thankful for and acknowledge my accomplishments! When I make a mistake, I will refocus with postive thinking, and remind myself that I am taking this journey one day at a time!
