Needles: US 15 (10mm)
Instructions:
Note: Remember to keep your gauge loose enough so that the hat will stretch some. It is supposed to be a tight hat, just not too tight!
CO 36 sts then join in the round.
First rnd: K1, P1 around
Second rnd: P1, K1 around
Start Faux Cable Pattern:
Rnd 1: K3, P1 around
Rnd 2: Sl 1, K2, PSSO, P1 around
Rnd 3: K1, YO, K1, P1 around
Repeat rounds 1 through 3 of the Faux Cable Pattern until piece measures about 7" in length
Decreasing:
Rnd 1: Sl 1, K2tog, PSSO, P1 around
Rnd 2: K1, P1 around
Rnd 3: K2tog around
Cut yarn, pull through remaining 9 sts and weave in ends.
