At first it was a disgruntled band of individuals that were tired of the oppression of a overbearing force. This spread one person at a time to those that felt the same all over the Nation. They began to meet and discuss those oppressors and the losses they inured because of those that held the power. Yet they chose to abide by the powers that be because it was easiest. The problem was that they were expected to give more and more. These demands created hardships on those that were under the power of a a demeaning oppressor. But they chose to do nothing and just be disgruntled and under duress.

The demands continued and the people continued to give, as that was the only way to keep the peace. Until a time came that there was no more to give no demands could be enough and the small band began to grow. One man at a time one woman at a time began to see that the path they were on was that of destruction. It became hard to meet the demands of their family and the lifestyle they had built out of the guidelines that they agreed to.

The most powerful demanded more and more and the oppressed had less and less to give. The groups began to grow and become more vocal, they sought ways to relieve the demands by the banding together. Then came the day when they decided to say no. That enough was enough. That's when the powerful demanded more and created an atmosphere of hostility, where they had all the control then disciplined at their will.
The band had what they thought was the law but even that was distorted to what the power brokers wanted and the members suffered.

As this band grew they were considered radicals, revolutionary's but because they were so small they imposed no threat.  For the most powerful were not afraid of a ragtag group that imposed no threat, yet that group began to grow and become full of unrest.

The time came that they banded together and became a unified force that soon the powerful began to see was going to be trouble. So they made up their own laws and suppressed the members even more. Then a event happened that made no mistake that this was a force to be reckoned with, so the powers that be reinforced themselves and demanded more, and oppressed more for this was just a small group compared to the force that they had amassed. yet this group still was filled with unrest and another event happened and the powerful retaliated and there was losses by the radicals.

The time came that the minute force realized that they had to do something, thats when they endorsed a document that changed the world. Dec. 16 1773 was the Boston tea party, April 19 1775 the skirmish at Lexington and Concord, July 4 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed which declared an independent state.

In 1974 the USPS and the NRLCA became sole negotiators of the Rural Carriers, the Association grew to become a force to be reckoned with. The Wells decision effectively raped our system of pay, the continued depletion of pay standards has crippled our pay. And now the unabashed declaration of war by changing of the formal review at their whim and in clear violation of Arbitrated awards and DOL regulations has proven the blatant disregard for this Association and it's ability to defend it's members.

When the time was darkest for the radical forces of the United States of America they called upon a long time enemy that despised our foe even more, that was the French.
Has the time come for us to seek out a one time enemy in our plight against our foe.
I Wonder.

And Thats The Way Jay Sees It.
