Description

Children in both link schools are given a brief concerning a list of food items.

Children will then be challenged to create a picnic based on a set of problem solving activities – For example. In your sandwich you will need something that is green, that grows above ground and that is good for you. The next thing in your sandwich comes from a pig, is pink and is a meat product.

Children will then conduct a Q & A session concerning the local foods. These can be there for the children to taste ready – Welsh cakes

Children will then create an international new sandwich with 3 items each.

Children can be questioned concerning – why should we not put chocolate in – unhealthy etc..
