Description

This could be done for any subject. Few examples are:

R.E – Biblical story.

History – Historical event.

P.E – Sporting event.

Each link school will discuss the subject given, develop animation figures using plasticine. This can be as simple as just using a digital camera to create the stills. The children will be given roles through the process so that all have the opportunity to present and co-ordinate the animation.

Children will then create a design brief for the link school to create the animation.

During the video conference the children will show their animation and present their process through pictures/powerpoint. Children could then conduct a quiz in which the children challenge each link school to assess how much they have learnt about their subject.

Longer project – Create an animation based on subject.
