APO hosts park picnic for homeless

Homeless and low-income families can enjoy a free hot meal in Alton Baker Park on May 18.

Service organization Alpha Phi Omega plans to feed around 200 people at the event, called Potluck in the Park. Potluck in the Park also features an arts and crafts area, music, games and giveaway bags for attendees.

Alpha Phi Omega volunteers will serve food between noon and 5 p.m. at the Alton Baker Park picnic shelters.
