ARTS 8400 Final Paper

Reflect on you work and your influences in context to the reading,  citing quotes and giving footnotes.

Specifically, how does your process relate to readings about Modernism/Post-Modernism/New Paradigms in terms of:
materials, research and influences.  Which concepts from the texts (give specific quotes) do you hope will influence your artwork in the future and why?

You may also bring in significant theory and quotes from other sources, as long as they relate to concepts considered in class.  Feel free to bring in the work of other artists for comparison or reflection, but be sure to focus on the readings and the application of theory to your work.

Goals: To reflect on and apply concepts from ARTS 8400, to put your work into the context of theory and to prepare for future presentations and writings in both the M.F.A. program and as a professional artist.
