When you are absent--
  1. check the calendar to see what we did in class - look at any class powerpoints - if they are available
  2. Write down the info from the calendar in your comp book - where you keep your class summaries

  2. Check the calendar for current assignments due soon - like next class.  Be ready to have them stamped...

Class Summaries
  • - students are to keep a summary  in their composition books of what we do in class everyday. 
  • IF you are absent- YOU REALLY NEED TO DO A SUMMARY - IT TELLS YOU YOUR MAKEUP WORK. 
  • Any 
  • - Just a date - and what we did that day.
  • I KEEP A CALENDAR (BLOG) OF WHAT WE DO EVERYDAY IN CLASS. Bio Blog 
  • So it is EASY to keep up on the class summaries......

What am I missing
  1. Look in your comp book - compare the "group contents sheet" and what you have in your comp book.   If you don't have it in your comp book - you have a missing assignment...
  2. Look at the grades and see if you have a test, quiz or project you missed.  Schedule a time to make that up.  BE SURE TO PREPARE.
