Evening at Calella
A long exposure shot of the Calella lighthouse, just at the 666 km. point of the N-II road. Built 150 years ago, it is one of the last active lighthouses in the Catalan coast. I remember that when I was a kid I asked my dad to bring me there on a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't get really close because there was a high fence on the building perimeter. The place is still closed to the public, in spite of the many times the Calella city council has begged the State authorities to make it accessible.
On another subject, I'm wondering if I could builg an online portfolio for my night photography using Wordpress.com as a platform. I know it will be quite a challenge because of the limitations of this specific CMS. I want to add a lot of photographs and text in English, Spanish and Catalan. Let's see how it turns out...
And last but not least, I recommend you all night photography buffs to get a copy of Troy Paiva's latest book: Night Vision: The Art of Urban Exploration. I bought it at Amazon for about 20 euros. One of the best investments I have made in a long time.
