Valerie Keller, twice-Emmy-nominated editor, has been editing since 1989 and co-producing the hit cable TV series BiG TeA PaRtY since 1998. Her work has aired nationally on networks and MSO's such as Travel Channel, Discovery, Sundance, Comcast and PBS, been aired via satellite on THE DISH Network and the VOOM Satellite Network; played in festivals around the world; featured in art galleries; shown on the web; aired on Phila public and cable TV. Valerie created over 60 inventive HD shorts which aired on the VOOM satellite network, as well as doing editing work on spots and promos for many major networks. BiG TeA PaRtY, which Valerie co-produces and edits, is a series of educational 'how-to' programs, created for broadcast, as well as a Sustainable Living resource website & blog at BigTeaParty.com. BTP's hour-long documentary "Unconventional Coverage" won Best Documentary at the 2001 Philadelphia Festival of World Cinema. Her original short "Stepping On Upworld" was screened at the Philadelphia Art Museum as part of a showcase of work by instructors from Scribe Video Center in summer of 2008, and included in the 2006 Philadelphia Stories series on PBS member station WYBE, and her original HD short "Discarded" was part of the September 2006 exhibit "Out Of Frame: Motion Art" at the Philadelphia Art Alliance, the country's oldest inter-disciplinary arts organization.
