One bright, beautiful, baby blue morning,
The halls of Marshall School were loud with
Students screaming and Connor said,
“ This is your last warning!”

All the students quietly waited,
All dressed up on a sunny day,
Boiling outside, laying around or sitting,
Students grumbled because the heat was so hated.

Gassing up was the first thing we did,
After that we all scrambled away
To be the first up the mountain,
I told those girls I wasn,t going to have fun,
So we made a bid.

Snowboarding means a lot to us,
Gliding, giggling, galloping,
Down this one patch of tundra,
With other people, it seemed like a bus.

Racing down hills,
Walking back up,
That’s what we did all day,
While our parents pay their bills.

It was time to leave our usual place,
Leaving memories behind to remember,
Speeding to go back home,
Going at our own pace.
