1.     Welcome and call to order. Meeting called to order at 5:16 p.m.

2.    Join ALA/NYLA. The joint student membership is only $35. Download the membership form from http://www.nyla.org/index.php?page_id=89

3.    Join ALA’s listserv: Go to http://listserv.buffalo.edu/archives/ub-ala-list.html and under “Options” click “Join or Leave UB-ALA-LIST”

4.    Treasurer’s Report.

• Bake and Book Sale. Thank you to everyone who baked goods and volunteered their time
• Elaine reported that we made $120.40 from the bake/book sale.  The total treasury is currently $152.32.
  

• Tote Bags Coming Soon for only $10 each. See the blog for a preview of the design. The current ship date is 4/23.  We will try to distribute bags at the luau with the permission of LIS GSA.
  

5.    Elections for Officers Fall 2009

• Nominations: Ray, Charlie, Sarah and Sara

• Sarah Crevelling ran unopposed for president, motion carried
• Charlie Kelly ran unopposed for vice president, motion carried.
• Sara Sinden ran unopposed for secretary, motion carried.
• Elaine Dean ran unopposed for treasurer, motion carried.
