More or less, these are the unofficial minutes of the last AEGS meeting:

Members of AEGS met Thursday, March 29, in the GTA office. Brita told us that Amy would like snacks at the next faculty workshop. Amy also requested that we decide what to include in the revised handbook - it was agreed that a short explanation rather than the whole constitution was preferable.

Officer Reports: Ariana spoke to the student affairs office about applying for funding. It's possible that we could get between $150-400 from them by the end of the year. Ariana said she would work on getting the paperwork in and see what happens.

Brita suggested that additional fundraising may be needed to support the group.

Though Mike is not an officer, he reported that he's working on getting the blog hosted at the university, which would enable us to have a blog with the functionality we'd like to have.

Ryan should be working on awards and other alumni liaisons.

Ellen plans a get together on April 23 for all the grad students, and the rumor is that Kacie and Jimmy are both interested in holding parties too.

New Business: We discussed the constitution draft and improvements to it. Brita took the advice under consideration and would revise it further.
