Collective Council Meeting Minutes

Attended by: Taylor, Devin, Kati, Eric, Rebecca, Cooper, and Nic

Minutes reviewed from last meeting.

-Devin explains registry idea – possibly talk to UNT/Denton PDs about how to do it.

-Idea of workshop is discussed.

-Group moves to recognize 2^nd steering committee during this meeting.

-PO Box – we should keep it.

-Paperwork needs to be adjusted for directors.

-Kati says: Group invited to raise money by volunteering at giftwrap station for Barnes and

Noble by Thom Anderson. Dates are Nov 27- Dec 24^th.

- Group thinks it might be a good idea to use it to promote a social ride? Perhaps a ride on

the Rail Trail?

- Group discusses plan to suggest renewable materials used for giftwrapping.

- Thom also mentioned having a book talk involving a book offered at the store.

- Group agrees on picking the 27^th.

-Next Ride – Holiday Theme? Wassail Ride?

- We need to find out when the Downton lighting will be.

-Emily Fowler has offered space for shop days and other events.

-Idea of youth programs discussed.

-Kati proposes a parks ride

-Taylor suggests having a very basic class for inner tube replacement.

-Nic will talk to his GM about tube donations and tire levers.

-Taylor proposes idea for a mobile shop trailer –to be discussed more at next meeting

-Kati mentioned mayor’s response to letters and 3 committees that should be contacted: Parks & Recs, Mobility, and Environmental Committees.
