Position: WORM Teacher

Ministry Area: Christian Education

Goal of Position: To enrich the Biblical knowledge and self-esteem of children, to influence their future choices, to guide children and young people as they grow in their understanding of God; God’s love

shown through Jesus Christ; the church and its mission.

Responsible To: WORM Coordinator, Christian education

Ministry Description: Prepare weekly lessons and teach a Sunday school class.

Length of Commitment: 2-3 weeks

Time Required: 2 hours per week

Training Provided: A training session is held at the beginning of each Sunday school session. Resources available. Child Abuse Prevention Training.

Qualifications/Special Skills Love of God and love of children; positive attitude (sense of humor and patience, enthusiasm for sharing with others helpful to). Dependable.
