Global Warming WebQuest
Introduction
You are part of a team of scientists who has been asked to study the causes, effects, and solutions to the Global Warming Crisis. Your research and findings will be used to formulate a plan to aide in the Crisis.
Task
PowerPoint Slideshow
You will be placed in groups of four and will need to choose one of the topics below. Once you have chosen your topic, use the list of resources to create a PowerPoint slideshow that lists the following:
how does you topic impact Global Warming,
what are some of the causes,
what are some of the effects, and
what are some of the solutions.

Oral Presentation
You will then present your findings in a PowerPoint slideshow on how your topic will impact global warming and provide solutions.
Process
Each group member will need to select a role:
Team Leader will be the main contact for the teacher.
Internet Researcher will be the main contact for finding supporting evidence eon the Internet.
PowerPoint Designer will be the main contact for creating the PowerPoint slideshow.
Writer will be the main contact for preparing the PowerPoint notes and presentation notes.
As a group discuss the topic and use the Internet resources to gather the information and create the PowerPoint slideshow.
You will have 5 minutes to present the PowerPoint slide and discuss your findings with the class. Every student in the group must speak during the presentation.
You will write a reflection in MS Word on the project answering the following questions:
What did you like about the project? Why?
What didn’t you like about the project? Why?
Did you learn anything new from your research?
Will anything you learned help change the way you live your life?
