TRANSPORTATION:
Most distances in Gandia easily reachable by walk. For Instance, the walking distance from the train station or the main city center to the Real Club Nautico and Playa del Norte is about 1 hour at brisk pace. Gandia is also a bike friendly town and there are many bike paths within the city proper and to the beaches.

It operates every 15/20 min during weekdays and 20/25 min on the weekends.
The last exits from the train station are 00:10, 0:30 and 0:50 and from Valldigna (the last beach stop) are 00:40, 1:00 and 1:20; weekdays and weekends are the same. Every 20 min. (less frequent on holidays and weekends). The buses go by a bus stop in front of Carrefour, which is also an access to the La Vital, Plaza Mayor, McDonalds and El Corte Inglés Centro de Oportunidades. The bus service begins at 9:15 am and operates every 15/20 min. on the weekdays and begins at 10 am and operates every hour. The last bus from this stop is 22:45 everyday.

In addition to the nationwide connections, it also services between Valencia Estacion del Norte and Gandia main station. They also have services to Grau (access to the beaches) 3 times per day early morning, mid-day and evening. Trains for the main station leave every hour at 29 min to the hour from Valencia and 7 min to the hour from Gandia on the weekends and holidays. On the work days, they add extra train service at the half hour btw the hourly one. The first one leaves around 5 am, the last one leaves Valencia at 22:41 and Gandia at 22:53. They are very prompt. The travel time is about 55 minutes and the train stops at every station between the two cities.
