Dear Pastor Deborah & church family, We would like to thank our Lakeville UCC family for the lovely dedication service. Special thanks to the Memorial Committee for all they did. Nancy not an official, but an ex-official went over board. (as she always does). As always Pastor Deborah did an outstanding job and was there for us during both losses, her concern and caring was much appreciated. We feel the Alter completes the ensemble and is very fitting memorial to Mom and Dad. Thank you again, Bob, Sandy and Family
Dear Friends,
Welcome to everyone this morning. We have been blessed with a wonderful week of weather. I hope you all are enjoying it! I want to thank you to everyone for your support of my doctoral work. I can't thank you enough for your words of encouragement.
Grace and Peace this week ahead, Pastor Deborah
September Mission is Livonia Food Pantry!
Did you know? 10.5% of New York households have lower quality diets or must resort to emergency food because they cannot always afford the food they need. Livonia Parish Pantry Update...what a difference the food cupboard will be enjoying! So far you have filled 3 grocery carts with non perishable and cleaning supplies. We're going for full Grocery Cart #4 today! You also have contributed $409.25 so far to help with the purchase of dairy, meat and eggs, and several people have volunteered to help with the packing/ delivering of food to people in need. Volunteers also needed!!
It's time to clean out those closets, garages, attics, wherever you are keeping all those items that you are never going to use again. We will be collecting for this year's Fall "Bargain" & Bake Sale that will be held on October 6th, from 8 am to 2 pm. We will be setting up the week of September 30th. As usual we can use all available help! Bring a dish to pass & enjoy our luncheon as we take a break from the work.
The sign-up list to host Social Hour following worship each Sunday is posted on the hallway bulletin board. Please help keep our weekly tradition going! it's easy to do, especially if you team up with another person/couple. For healthy snacks (like fruit and vegetables), we still have money from a Noyes grant for reimbursement. If you have questions, please see Rhonda Wert.
