Reflecting on the Process
Describe your planning process. What questions lead you to your topic?
In Taiwan, there are a lot of people drunk-driving to cause incomplete family and also to threat their life. We do this PSA to warn people that No drunk-driving.
2. How did creating a public service announcement (PSA) change your opinion about the topic it was about?
In our society, there are lots of people who drive all the time, so we transmit the message by PSA.
3. Describe the transitions you used and explain why you chose them.
We choose the topic because of the super star who drunk-driving that are not the good demonstration to all people.
4. Describe the effects you used and how they added to the meaning.
We remind all of people No drunk- driving, we use serious pictures to show the car accident with drunk-driving.
5. Discuss how the words you added in the title, credits, or within the body of the movie added to the meaning.
Title: No drunk-driving.
Credits: All people of our group.
The meaning: We choose this serious issue. We have new statistic to express how danger if you drunk-driving. Everyone should follow the rule. Don’t harm other person and self.
6. What does your final project mean to you?
We want to transmit the importance of life.
What message do you hope your PSA expresses to viewer?
First, we show the pictures and to warn people.
Second, we tell the data of drunk-driving with the pictures.
Final, we remind the viewers “No drunk-driving.”
8. What did you learn about technology by participating in this project?
We learn how to do PSA and use movie maker.
Evaluating the Products
What message is the public service announcement (PSA) trying to portray? Is the message persuasive?
We use statistic of data to show credibility of our PSA and drunk-driving is the most serious accident in Taiwan.
How did the producers use persuasive words and images to get across their message?
We use “In Taiwan an average of two people died in drunk-driving everyday” to persuade people and also use the pictures of car accident to notice people no drunk-driving.
