Hemp Milk

2 Tbsp Hulled Hemp Seeds (also called hemp nuts) ground up
4 Cups Water
1 Tbsp Agave Nectar (more or less depending on taste)

If you have a good blender you can just blend the hemp seeds in the blender, but mine is rather crappy so I blend the hemp seeds in a coffee grinder and then transfer them to a blender.

Add ground up hemp seeds, water and agave nectar to blender and blend.

Pour over tight wire mesh strainer in bowl and drink.  If you want to you can also strain hemp milk one more time through a cheesecloth or face cloth to get all the little bits out.  Every time you go to drink some or pour it into a bottle, you'll have to shake it up first as the seeds will separate from the water.

While pregnant and nursing I have been taking 2 tbsp of hemp protein powder in a bit of juice every morning and it seems to give me a great boost of energy for the day.
