Call to Order!
Look into procuring funding from UAB for student groups? Worth looking into to fund pizza, t-shirts, etc.
Dues of $10/person would cover pizza for the rest of the semester.
Sonda suggested sending a flyer for the next meeting to undergraduate psychology professors. She is our new undergraduate representative!!!
Don’t forget to fulfill the ANST requirements!!! APA, Div 40, ANST Listserv, etc.
Kudos to Don for getting the MPCC to approve Neuroanatomy course for this summer!
Suggestion from Brad: record class lectures for future students, in case they are unable to get the neuro classes they want.
Hoping to meet the 2nd Wednesday of every month; may move it back to 4:30pm. Consensus?
The monthly event time has been changed to 5pm this month; will generally occur at the end of the month. This month will be a panel of expert speakers on internships: Chris Stewart, who is currently applying, Caitlin Schultz, who is a current intern, and Katie Fabrizio, who is on the internship committee at UAB. If you have an idea for a speaker or activity, please submit it to Cady and Jacquie!

How to organize this list: Area of interest; Inpatient/outpatient; assessment; psychotherapy;
*Cross-list areas of interest? Aging, etc.
Next step: Send questionnaire to each person on this list, ask them to indicate which of the populations, diagnoses, etc. a student would be exposed to by doing a practicum with him/her.
Research Training:
Contact list of people? IRB info? List of neuropsych organizations?
*Add which sites are research-friendly, which are research factories!
*Suggestion: E-mail out to different supervisors, upper level grad students and ask for just a sentence or two about the type of experience a student could get at the sites they have experience with.
