The general motorhome forums support our members in a number of ways.  Beginning with Problems and Solutions, discussing Issues and Solutions with towed personal vehicles, showcasing Class C motorhomes and their use and concluding with General Discussions these forums provide a wide variety of discussions for our members to chose from when interacting with fellow motorhome owners.    

  

Travel Trailers & 5th Wheels Forums: 

Towables as always are some of the most popular RVs on the market today.  From young families just getting started out to full timers in their large Fifth Wheels the towables forums cover the most popular trailers from travel trailers to toyhaulers.   This forum also supports the vehicles that are required to tow the RVs as well.  Beginning with Problems and Solutions and concluding with General Discussions the forums provide information and insight for all trailerists. 

 

Owners Clubs:

Of little import in the past, our chassis forums have exceeded everyone's expectation and have become extremely popular with iRV2 members.   These second to none forums, put our members in touch with other owners and resources where interactive discussions regarding suspension, powertrain and other systems together make the RV'ing experience possible.  iRV2's content showcases the top 5 RV chassis manufacturers in production today.  Not uncommon, our members routinely attest how much this resource has helped them improve their ownership experience.  

 

Regional Chapters Campouts and Rallies

These forums are the keys that bind the community.  Over the past 10 years, our members have come together outside of the iRV2 forum environment.   Located within their immediate geographical areas, members have formed club chapters which have fostered traditions and family relationships.  iRV2.com campouts and rallies are very popular with our members and occur frequently.  In support for our regional clubs, iRV2.com has successfully put forward a National Rally every year since 2001.  This tradition continues with activities planned for the mid-west this year and west coast in 2010.

We are pleased to offer a new simplified sponsorship program for year 2009, it's as easy as 1-2-3.  Our goal is to bring our sponsors a tremendous value when it comes to their ad dollars and exposure to highly targeted audience.  We understand that we need to have cost effective advertising solutions for small and large budgets and feel confident that all of our package deliver a considerable value and ROI.  Following is an overview of each sponsorship package:

 

Silver Sponsors

- Our entry level sponsorship that provides a sponsor with a 125x125 Button ad in the right column of our community.  We will serve a minimum of 100,000 ads per month guaranteed (Max CPM of $.83*).  Based on inventory it’s highly probable that we will serve considerably more then the minimum guaranteed. 

Cost: $100/month** or $1,000 per year when prepaid (that's only $2.74 per day).

 

 

 

Gold Sponsors - We offer our Gold Sponsors an ad that is twice the size of the Silver Sponsors (300x100) located in premium placements throughout the site.  We will serve a minimum of 150,000 ads per month guaranteed (Max CPM of $1.11*).  Based on inventory it’s highly probable that we will serve considerably more than the minimum guaranteed.

Cost: $200/month** or $2,000 per year when prepaid (that's only $5.48 per day).

Platinum Sponsors - We offer our Platinum Sponsors all the benefits of the Gold Sponsor plus a highly integrated ad placement showcasing our Platinum Sponsors as sponsors of a specific section of the iRV2 community.  These highly integrated sponsorships are considered to be some of the most effective and valuable sponsorship opportunities on the Internet.  Each forum is limited to no more than 4 Platinum Sponsors.  In the event a forum has more than one sponsor the integrated ads will also show up at the top of all the discussion threads inside that forum.

 

Cost: $300/month** or $3,000 per year when prepaid (that's only $8.22 per day).

Tips for increasing clicks from your sponsorship:
 
In order to increase the value of your sponsorship we recommend the following: 
 
  1. Keep your ads fresh, update them on a regular basis (at least quarterly)
  2. Show ads for hot products and link directly to them on your website.  When someone clicks they will be taken directly to the right webpage.
  3. Show multiple ads at one time.  Each sponsor is allocated one ad "slot", you can show as many ads in your ad slot as you please.  If you had 4 ads running then each one would show 25% of the time when your ad slot is shown.  Example: 1 ad for company home page, 1 ad for a sale going on, 2 ads for products you want to promote.
  4. Seasonal ads perform well, update your ads for each season to help get the attention of the members.
 
Following are some tips for creating great banners.
 
Be clear in your graphics and messaging. Your main objective is to have people take a particular action after viewing your ad. A strong, clear message will help capture their interest. Clear communication requires that you understand your message, what you are selling and the benefit that you are offering potential customers. You will often want your primary message to be the strongest visual element in your ad
 
Use power words. These are single words that immediately communicate a benefit. "Free," "unbelievable," "incredible," "affordable," "heartwarming" -- a brainstorming session will help you create a list of words that are perfect for your campaign.
 
Keep it simple -  Use larger fonts and fewer words, try to say it in seven words or less.
 
Use contrast to capture attention - ad will likely include these elements: background colours, a bold text message, and a photograph or drawing, and animated. To be effective you need to have contrast between these elements. Contrast can be achieved using different font sizes and bolds and colours.
 
Don't overdo it with animation. If you plan to use animation in your ad, there are a few things to consider. You want the animation to draw the eye without offending the online viewer. When setting the animation speed, look for something that changes at a slow to moderate pace. It helps to set your animations so that they stop after three cycles; some sites may insist on this. 
Less really is more. As you create your design, remember that less cluttered messages will make a stronger impact with the online viewer. Limit the number of elements -- the colours, fonts, graphics and words -- that you use in your ad and ask yourself whether your primary message is clear.
 
Keep the file size low. About 30-60kb is typically a good size for a banner ad.
 
 If you need a new banner to support the program you selected, we recommend www.bannersmall.com or www.heybannerbanner.com.   We have no affiliation with this company, but have had many banners made by them and our results have been incredible.  It is very important to not only have a good professional banner made, but also change your banner at least once every 6-12 months..
