In this assignment you will collect information about a professional organization to which you belong or one you would like to join and create a tri-fold brochure.
Use the following guidelines to create your brochure:
Research a professional business organization to which you belong or one you would like to join and gather information to use in a promotional brochure (goals, objectives, events, etc.).
Collect images, logos, graphics, and pictures that can be used to express the content of the information.
Read the article at http://www.computorcompanion.com/LPMArticle.asp?ID=143 and follow the steps to create a tri-fold brochure using Word. These instructions are written for Word 2003 instead of Word 2007, so you may have to adapt a little.
TIP: It might be helpful to fold a blank sheet of paper like your brochure will be folded and write on each panel the contents you plan to print on that particular panel. Then when the paper is unfolded, you will know what information to print in each column.
Apply good layout and design practices to your brochure. Observe good text-to-graphic placement and usage. Make sure the graphic remains proportionally shaped.
