ON THE DAY YOU WERE BORN WEB PAGE



  1. You are going to create an "On the Day You Were Born" Web page using Dreamweaver. Grading will be based on content, design, and adherence to directions.

  2. Title the page: (your date of birth) – for the Title Bar at the top of the window.

  3. Set the page design up any way that you want, be consistent in your use of font and colors. Make sure to introduce me to you and your birthday. At least one paragraph will be sufficient.

  4. Include a list that gives names of people who share your birthday and how they are famous. (Include at least four to five people for your birthday.)

  5. Include an ordered list (numbers) that describes at least eight things that have happened throughout history on your birthday (i.e. May 24, 1879)

  6. Include an unordered list (bullets) that describes at least eight things that happened on your exact date of birth. (If you have trouble finding eight items, you will need to make sure that your two lists total 16 items instead.)

  7. Include pictures and graphics that will enhance the layout of your page and create an interesting look. At least one of your pictures should be a link to an outside web site.

8. Include at least two links to other web sites that were not given to you in class.
