2008-Present - Senior Application Engineer at Oracle

Project manager responsible for Oracle UPK integration with SAP applications. Worked with development, testing, documentation, sales, and support to facilitate all phases of product lifecycle and customer engagement.

2008-Present - Technical Product Manager at Global Knowledge Software

Responsible for GKS product integration with SAP applications. Worked with development, testing, documentation, sales, and support to facilitate all phases of product lifecycle and customer engagement Maintained integration transport, dictionary objects and ABAP code.

2006-2007 - Customer Delivery Manager (ALO) at SAP America

Part of the Application Management Services team with SAP Hosting, my responsibilities included managing all facets of service delivery for four accounts, coordinating service delivery with both local and remote resources, direct and contract employees, and planning for SAP projects, from minor patches to upgrades to full implementations.

1996-2006 - Basis Administrator & Tools Team Lead at SAP America

Part of the global IT team responsible for systems management, automation, monitoring, performance and capacity planning. Significant achievements and responsibilities included:
  • Performance review, guidance and task-planning for three team members
  • Project management and basis administration of R/3 systems for SAP TechEd US events in New Orleans 2002 and Las Vegas 2003
  • Global system performance lead (for 2002)— responsible for maintaining best practice server configurations for optimum performance on 700+ R/3 instances, versions 4.0B and 620 on Oracle 8.x and SQL Server 7.0/2000
  • Design and rollout of a 1000+ node Windows NT 4.0 network for US SAP Training classrooms
  • Design of SAP Basis training server refresh—part of a special training program that required new operating system, database and R/3 installations every week on 80+ servers
  • Escalation support for 25 NT 4.0 file servers across 14 locations

  • Documentation for business processes, including purchase request justifications and cost analyses
  • Development of in-house systems management tools including asset inventory, application billing, job scheduling, application monitoring and alerting—most deployed via intranet as Perl/CGI, VBScript/ASP or XML/XSLT connecting to MSSQL 2000.

1995-1996 - Systems Administrator for CDI Corporation at Air Products & Chemicals

Responsibilities included database maintenance and reporting for VAX VMS-based MRP-II system, ProfitKey. Worked closely with the Accounting group to develop reporting interfaces from VMS system into MS Excel.

1994-1995 - Webmaster at Legends

Design and coding of website with interactive database for small retail chain running on Netscape Server and ColdFusion. (site no longer running)

1992-1993 - IT Support at US Healthcare

Assisted new Government Contracts division in developing contacts database system and integrated MS Office applications with simple workflow built with form letters, mail merges and Excel reporting.
