Cameron Donald and Chas Hern for the Hughie Hoare Endurance race

On the 20th and 21st of this month Isle of Man winner and European Super-bike sensation Cameron Donald will be teamed up with Chas Hern for the annual Hughie Hoare endurance race. Cameron, who races for the Relentless/Tas Suzuki team in Ireland and the UK is back home for his off season for the next few months before heading back to Ireland for next year. The team had there first test yesterday and the times were hot.
With Cameron also having raced for Mick Hone motorcycles in Australia, Cameron and Chas decided to team up for the annual event and yesterday they both took to the track in order to get the Mick Hone Motorcycle/ Hern Engineering Suzuki GSXR set up for the race in 2 weeks. Some early tyre problems caused slow progress in the morning, but with that out of the way both riders were less than 0.5 of a second off the outright lap record at the Broadford circuit.  The boys will be teamed up on Chas’s current Formula Xtreme spec bike and look forward to taking to the factory spec Machines.
