Title: Project Inventory Manager
Status: Volunteer
Department: Business Edition
Reports To: Business Edition Chairperson

Summary:
Identifies, scopes, resource plans and coordinates the community service projects and activities. This individual works with the Operations Managers and Business Development Manager to accurately forecast the implementation teams’ volunteer and material requirements along with any logistics planning needs in the scheduling of the project. Defines the scope of the projects to ensure that goals and objectives are understood by operations and are ultimately achieved. This is accomplished by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Working with functional groups of business development and operations to complete assigned projects and tasks for the FH&L Business Edition Team and recipients.
Develops the material and labor requirements for each project and works with group to secure the requirement material and labor to complete.
Works with the area coordinators and the operations group to prioritize and schedule based on available materials and resources.
Works with non profit organizations and prospective recipients to identifiy and scope community service projects
Tracks and reports on overall project inventory.
Manages the excess material inventory.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, both verbally and written.
Participates on FH&L committees and cross-functional teams as assigned.
Performs other related duties as required/assigned.

Local travel will be required. When not traveling, work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards, and the noise level is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this job, the volunteer occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and moving vehicles as well as construction and maintenance sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather conditions but not from temperature changes (heat in summer; cold in winter).
