SUMMARY
Manages the area coordinators and the execution of the community service projects within the FH&L Business Edition program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops goals and measurables for work performance of the volunteer teams and area coordinators.
Responsible for resource planning to include volunteers, materials and schedule.
Coordinate with participating companies and non profit organizations to scope, plan and implement projects.
Responsible for meeting forecasted resource, material, capacity, quality and timing requirements.
Creates and maintains written processes/procedures for all aspects of planning and project delivery as applicable.
Generates organizations’ policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Researches opportunities for performance improvement in quality, productivity, and project planning.
Labor tracking and budgeting of volunteers and projects.
Maintains time and productivity records.
Confers with other the managers to coordinate activities of individual departments.
Assures conformance to all safety, security, and environmental rules.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
3 – 5 years prior experience in project management or construction management with
supervision of 20 or more employees
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 4 area coordinators who in-turn manages volunteer teams in the implementation of community service projects in the Indianapolis area. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training volunteers; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining volunteers; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
