Title: Business Development Manager

Status: Volunteer

Department: Business Edition

Reports To: Business Edition - Chairperson

Purpose/Function:


Responsible for all resource and volunteer recruitment functions including strategic marketing and communications. Serves as the primary point of contact for all marketing relating programs and associated activities.

Major Essential Functions


Corporate Support Program - Work with all functional areas to help provide needed volunteer & financial support

Budgeting – Plan and track community project funding and volunteers requirements, with accountability for fulfillment.

Media Planning / Advertising – work to develop campaigns to promote FH&L Business Edition’s mission and services

Event Planning – Plan and manage the execution of events, including tradeshows, seminars and meetings



Minor Essential Functions


Corporate Branding activities – Work with internal resources and external support to create and update media kit and other pieces of marketing collateral

Online marketing – Work with organization to plan and execute email marketing and online campaigns.

Bachelors degree, preferably in marketing or a related field of study

Experience

Minimum three years marketing experience

Competencies

Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers; Project management and organizational skills; Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment

Equipment

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; Basic understanding of Photoshop and other graphics programs
