[These pertain to the Daniel Gould estate, in Anson County. I cannot tell if William F. Watkins came to N. C. to settle or if for come reason, he did not, and second power of attorney was done to Christopher Watkins, brother of “Texas John”.]


Disposal: The land of John Watkins was sold, Rusk County Deed Book O, page 96, and Book O, page 215 on 10 Jan. 1861 and 9 March 1861 to John Pruitt and A. P. Galloway, by W.F.

Watkins, executor, and John Watkins.
