Profile |
Having taught English classes at Jones County Junior College in rural Mississippi since 1996, I'm profoundly aware of the need to address technological literacy issues across the curriculum. While my writing classes do concentrate primarily on the craft of composition, we also integrate technological challenges into the assignments. My students will need to compete in a global economy and a world of rapid technological advances. I firmly believe it is my job to help them prepare for this, and in any class I taught I would work toward helping students learn not only the simple capacity to complete technological tasks but also the mindset necessary to adapt to technological changes and challenges.
