3.    OVERSEAS PROJECT FUNDING  - PLEASE READ!!  For several years our group has been giving away about $1000-$1500 per year to worthy PCs for some project in their host country.  We raised the money through calendar sales and the Human Race.  However, the Human Race has been cancelled, so we need to think about other sources of money, like wine tasting or ethnic performance events (no phone soliciting). In addition, we’ve had a lot of trouble finding projects to fund, so the Board decided to ask for suggestions from our members by region.   The designated hitters are:  Asia - Faith Boucher fkboucher@ucdavis.edu, South America – Bruce Sandie bsandie@comcast.net,  Central America/Caribbean – Mark Stivers mark@markstivers.com, Africa – Steve Riggs steve.riggs@yahoo.com.  We will be contacting people informally to get everyone’s input, or you can send send us your ideas.  THANKS!!
