1.  	ADVENTURES IN DINING – Join us for dinner on
August 17, this Friday, at 7:00 at La Flor De
Michoacan, Honduran and Mexican food, 2339 Northgate
Bl., 927-7265.  Fran Kennedy says:  “I checked out the
website and there was no menu, but there is a yahoo
map to print.. I found two reviews: 1. Very good! Best
Pupusas in Sacto with 5 stars.  2.The English is not
so good, so hope you have some Spanish. Service a
little slow, but the food is well worth the wait.”

4.	ANNUAL MEETING - College Greens Swim Club September
22.  There will be swimming from 3:00 p.m. onward, we
will start barbecuing around 6.  Bring something to
barbecue and an ethnic dish to share, drinks will be
provided. The program will begin around 7, and we will
have Ms. Leisa Faulkner Barnes talking about her
project, Children’s Hope Haiti.   Contact Fran

5.	ANNUAL UNITED NATIONS DAY DINNER AND FASHION SHOW –
October 24, starting at 5:30 p.m with no-host cocktail
hour, dinner, fashion show, and a speaker at the
Unitarian Universalist Church, 2425 Sierra Blvd.  Fran
Kennedy is looking for participants with ethnic
costumes for a Fashion Show!  If you’d like to model,
lend a costume, or simply enjoy a great event, please
