1. ADVENTURES IN DINING - Join the Adventurous Diners
on Friday May 17 for Ethiopian food at Queen Sheva,
1704 Broadway. We’ve made the executive decision that
it will be family style, prices are $10.95 for
non-vegetarian and $9.95 for vegetarian. Please RSVP

2. INTERNATIONAL TAXI AT ARTS IN RIVER PARK MAY 12 –
We need volunteers to assemble, staff, and disassemble
the Taxi. Times open when we especially need help are
10-12 and 12-2. Please contact Audrey Wiechman at

6. ANYBODY WANNA GO TO D.C. FOR “ADVOCACY TRAINING”?
Greetings! We are writing to let you know that along
with the summer Group Leaders Forum and the Annual
General Meeting, NPCA’s Advocacy Program will be
organizing Capitol Hill Advocacy 2007 on Thursday,
June 28th and Friday June 29th. We are planning
opportunities for advocacy over two days in order to
increase the possibilities for face-to-face meetings
with lawmakers (more likely on Thursday) while
considering travel and work needs of many members (the
reason for Friday sessions).
We welcome your participation, as well as that of any
interested members of your affiliate group who are
coming to Washington. Here is a link to our
