Minutes of the Sacramento Valley Returned Peace Corps Volunteers’ Board Meeting
April 3, 2007

Members present:  Faith Boucher, Fran Kennedy, Bruce Sandie, Nancy Sinnwell. Heidi Steger,
            Mark Stivers, Jim Waters, Audrey Wiechman,

Members absent:  Debra DeBondt, Deborah Moskovitz, Veronica Rodriguez

1.  Minutes of the March 6, 2007 meeting
    -change spelling of Audrey’s last name to ie
    -motion Heidi, second Mark, approved
2.  Treasurer’s Report
    -Curtis Hall for nom party - $300 check voided
    -current balance $2,528.99
3.  Change of Treasurer
    -Mark has access to a treasurer’s report program which he has used for several years
    -motion to remove Deborah as treasurer-Faith, second - Mark, approved
    -motion to appoint Mark as treasurer-Jim, second-Bruce, approved
4.  Corporate Compliance 501 - Follow Up
    -Nancy gave the papers to Ann M. to look at for ideas
    -Faith will check the Secretary of State’s Office - Department of Consumer Complaints             and the Better Business Bureau
    -Faith took the originals to use as she investigates
5.  Adventures in Dining
    -Debra will be taking a leave of absence from organizing this
    -Fran, Faith, and Audrey will help; Heidi will join the effort after June
    -for April the organizers will be Fran and Faith
    -need to ask Mike C. to incorporate the Adventures in Dining list to the big e-mail list
6.  Follow Up on the CSUS Ed Panel
    -no one present attended on March 14th
7.  Nom Party
    -Janet Allen - the San Francisco Regional Office Manager will attend instead of Veronica
    -Faith, Heidi, and Nancy will bring refreshments (see March minutes).
    -Fran will get the microphone and a screen.
    -Heidi will check with Veronica for a projector.
    -Mark will call Steve Long about a projector.
8.  Rebuilding Together
    -Audrey, Nancy, and Susan Boring will participate
    -consider dropping this next year
    -screening for whom to help doesn’t seem as good since they started doing a whole street
    -seem to have lots of volunteers
    -to replace it let’s consider: Capitol Public Radio in May, Creek Week Clean Up in April,
                        Hands on Sacramento
9.  Human Race
    -no information
    -Fran will check with Mary Ann to see if she knows anything about it

10.  International Taxi - May 12th - Arts in River Park
    -Bruce can take the taxi to the location
    -need a truck to return it to storage
    -Fran will work 12 - 2 PM
    -other shifts - see March minutes
    -possible people to recruit to help:  Rich and Mary Howard, Chris and Karina, Jean,             Mary Ann, Judy Painter and David Porter, check names from the Christmas             Promise list
