SRPCV Board Meeting February 6, 2007

Members present:  Deborah Moskovitz, Bruce Sandie, Nancy Sinnwell, Jim Waters.
            Audrey Wiechman
Members absent:  Faith Boucher, Debra DeBondt, Fran Kennedy, Heidi Steger, Mark Stivers

 1.  Minutes of the January meeting discussed - no quorum to approve them
    -lots of discussion about #5 the Corporate Compliance 501 which seems to be a scam
    -Nancy will show the paperwork to David Blicker when he does Peace Corps Day at her             school to see if he has any suggestions for us.
 2.  Election/Appointment of President and Vice President
    -Audrey has agreed to be President of the group since Kenton moved away
    -Bruce has agreed to be Vice President
    -will vote on this at the next meeting when we have a quorum
 3.  Treasurer's Report
    -balance listed at $1543.99
    -return of Sierra ll Center deposit not recorded
    -Japanese dancers not subtracted
    -project funding check to Jonathon for the Ke
 4.  Winter Dinner
    -a successful event with about 60-70 in attendance
    -the Japanese dancers - very entertaining
 5.  Adventures in Dining
    -Sher-E-Punjab in January - about 12 attended
    -Debra unable to do February Adventures - Audrey will help with that for Feb. 16th
 6.  International Calendar Sales
    -all but 2 sold
    -RPCV Wisconsin wants information on how we spend the money we make from the             calendars - Nancy will notify them that we use it for project funding
    -should plan on ordering 125 calendars for next year
 7.  Membership
    -nothing to discuss at this time
 8.  2007 Calendar of Events
    -discussion held, but many dates and locations needed to be firmed up
    -board members in charge of special events should bring detailed information to the             March meeting
    -need volunteers to staff the International Taxi on May 12th for Arts in River Park
 9.  Mailbox keys
    -now with Audrey and Deborah
10.  Next meeting
