Just when you thought you understood how the Internet works, along comes "Web 2.0" to challenge your way of thinking. Where "Web 1.0" was all about putting information online, "Web 2.0" introduces new technologies that let you use and share that information and communicate in ways you never imagined.

What is Web 2.0 ...
Wikipedia (itself a Web 2.0 phenomenon) defines the phrase as, “a perceived or proposed second generation of Web-based services --such as social networking sites, wikis, communication tools, and folksonomies—that emphasize online collaboration and sharing among users.”
... and why should I care?
In this presentation, we’ll show you dozens of helpful, cool, and interesting web sites and services that can help you in your practice and that deliver amazing functionality once reserved for stand-alone programs to any computer with a fast internet connection. And all at a fraction of the cost (and often free) of off-the-shelf or custom software.
What can Web 2.0 do?
Think about the things you do on a daily basis in your law practice. Odds are, there is a “Web 2.0” service that can serve as a serviceable (if not superior) replacement to the computer applications you use everyday.
