June 4th, 2008

  • The chair has arrived and is being installed. Likewise, the array is being adjusted, and final adjustments are being made to the steering and superstructure. In regards to other issues, t-shirts are also being prepared. Only 1 month remains until the competition!





May 24th, 2008
  • We are continuing to have daily meetings, except for Friday and Sunday. Our final phase of testing is in about three weeks!

April 26th, 2008

  • The canopy/seat, parking brake and steering are being further adjusted and finalized. Plans are underway for additional road tests in June.
  • A group from the public was given a tour of our lab and what we do when Harland met someone who could help fix up our trailer.

April 19th, 2008
  • Bought materials including chicken wire, expanding foam and miscellaneous parts to rebuild a new canopy and parking break.
  • Harland has found us a nice testing site at La Cholla Airpark and San Manuel airport. Testing will also be done at the Tucson Raceway Park.

March 29th, 2008
  • Harland Goertz, a Tucson resident has come on board on the team as an adjunct advisor. He will work closely with us and help support us with gathering support from local organizations.
