  1. The new album has been relased, are you happy with it and how are you going to promote it?

New album is relased, jupiii. We´re gonny promote it ´till last atom of our strength. Ira and Kameni have strength (you can tell), and we are going to drag Boris with us. He is still our little grumbler and studio – mouse. We are starting with signing albums in shops in Croatia and promoting songs on radio stations, which are media promotors. At the same time we are doing concerts at the seaside, and in autumn we hope to have a tour in Croatia. Crazy, people!


  1. Which song is going to be next single?

99% it is going to be the song Najbolje od svega, number one on our new album. Great song, your body just shivers in the rhythm of it and immediately you want to break something.


  1. Are you going to make duets in the future?Which foreign performers would you like to make a duet with?

Altough we are not crazy about duets, sometimes we do it. The male part of Colonia would definitely like a duet with Danny Minogue, and for the female part it doesn´t even matter, male part is numerically stronger anyway, hahaha! Ira likes Tina Turner, so she would probably like that duet.


  1. A book about Colonia is going to be relased soon, too. What can you tell us about that book?

The book will be relased a week after the new album and it mostly says about our beginnings, it´s just great! I can´t tell you more, you just have to have it.

  1. Can we expect a DVD with all Colonia videos soon?

I think you can, but we have to make deals with all the people from discography, which have been with us through these 9 years. It is a lot of work, but I think we can make it this year.


  1. Would you like it if you have got a Grand prix on this year´s Croatian radio festival? Did you have any favorite songs there?

Believe us, it is not that important to us, we were happy to be there and to promote our new album and we did it great. The song “Nema nade” became very popular and we are so happy. I don´tknow about the favorite songs, but Tony´s (Tony Cetinski) song is great.


  1. Do you remember which performance or concert was the best for you so far? Did you also have any bad experiences?

Every performance was great for us because people are there for us, we must appreciate that. We didn´t have any bad experiences. I remember one concert 6 years ago: the lights and electricity went out and Ira was making jokes with people and sang without a mike for about half an hour (in the end the electricity didn´t even come but people were very happy). Everything was going on in a complete dark.

  1. After «A little bit of uh la la» , are there any plans for other songs in English, or maybe the whole album?

From September on we are going to relase some songs in English. There is one English song on our new album (Time), and the rest of it…in 3 months.



  1. Questions for Boris: Where do you get all that inspiration for the lyrics that you have written (and which are just great)?


As he always says, it comes out of life (crap), he has a rich imagination. That´s it. He is a talented and smat mummy´s boy, hahaha.

  1. What do you like more: working for Colonia or for some other performers? What is easier? Is there some kind of pressure when you work for other performers?

Colonia is my love and our 9-year-old baby, everythng else is just a well-done work and making my emotive and creative dreams come true.

  1. Which is your favorite song that you have written?

There is no such thing, I like all of them and I have worked hard enough for all of them. I think I have good dynamics from the beginning until now.

  1. What would you like to do if there is no Colonia? What did you want to be when you were children? Do you have any dreams now?

Ira definitely wanted to be what she is now, Boris too, music is the most important. Kamenko is a typical worker, just give me something to do and that´s it. We´re kidding…we all mostly do what we have always wanted to do.


  1. This interview is for «internet people» on your fan site, so I would like to know if anyone of you surfs the Internet and what kind of sites do you search for?;-)

Boris and Kameni are really Internet freaks; Ira has stayed behind them (she only surfs for shopping and clothes). Hahaha.


  1. What about your free time?

Our free time is a secret, we use it the best we can.


  1. Questions from Valdy (Germany):What do you most like:working in studio, live performances, TV-performances, making videos, doing interviews...or maybe, dish washing? :))) What were you like as kids? What were you like in school?

Uuu, lots of questions, she is a curious girl. We like everything related to music. As kids and in school…you must take the book and read it, because it is a long story.


  1. Questions from Indira (Sarajevo):How can you both have a good private life and a succesfull career? Have your relations in group changed since the beginning? If not, what keeps you together?What do you mostly spend your money for? When are you going to have a concert in Sarajevo again?How long do you plan to stay on scene and perform?

Private life is private life, we don´t want to talk about it a lot. Everything works with good organisation. Relations in grouo are perfect, we take care about it and we are good friends in private, too. Money is to spend; you just have to take care on what. I think we are pretty rational, but the two of us mostly spend it on technology and Ira on clothes (normal). We are going to have a concert in Sarajevo at the beginning of next year, if we don´t have a chance to do it this year. We are planning to make concerts with our grandchildren, hahaha. :)


  1. Miroslav from Canada: Are you going to have a concert in Canada again?

I think so, but next year. We have been there twice so far and it was great.


  1. Domic from Melbourne: How was it for you in Australia? Are you going to repeat that?

Australia was great as well, but it is so far! Just kidding, I think we are coming there again, maybe even this year because we are negotiating at the moment.


  1. Alejandro from Chile: Is there a possibility of coming to South America, especially to Chile?

I really don´t know about that, we know we have fans there, too, but I really don´t know. We would like that, but I don´t know any sponsors there.


  1. Ilija from Serbia and Montenegro: When (and if) do you plan to come here?

Maybe during the summer at the coast. It is nice to play then.


  1. And in the end, a message and greeting to members?

Big greetings to all the members and I hope we will celebrate 10 years of Colonia and our faithful fans next year. Big kiss to everybody!
