Downloading and installing updates
 
You can download the updates that RadarSync finds in two ways:
 
1)  'Download Selected Items':  Select individual updates, or select check the top box
to select all updates, and click the 'Download Selected Items' button on the scan
results page. (You can cancel this action at any time by selecting 'Cancel all pending
downloads' in the 'My Downloads' folder.)


 
 

2)  'Details':  On the results page, click 'Details' next to any of the updates
listed on the results page, and then to select 'Download newest version'
as in the image below. 

Once you've selected an update to download, the process begins
immediately.  If it does not, please check your internet connection. 
 
After the download is complete, select 'Install Update' and
RadarSync will begin installing the update for you immediately.
 
If you prefer to wait to install the update at a later time, click
'Close'. 

 
If you plan to minimize RadarSync during the download
process, you can set up your RadarSync Options to receive
update notifications as a pop-up balloon from the system
tray in the lower right corner of your screen, as below.

 
 
Once an update has been downloaded, it's status on your results page will change to
'Ready for install' for the rest of your current session.

 
 
If you've chosen not to install the update immediately after download, you can access
and install it later from My Downloads or the DOWNLOADS tab.  See Managing downloads
