Thanks to someone who is obviously desperate for money but doesn’t care about anyone but themselves, we no longer have a copier in our department.

IDSA has voted to eliminate it anyway because they were barely breaking even on it, before someone started breaking into it. We’ve had the copier for so long I can’t remember, and it never even crossed our minds that it would present a target for thieves.

I don’t know if this inconsiderate creep is aware that their vandalism of property and theft of student money is going to end up affecting anyone else, or if they care. Regardless, it’s burglary, a crime. And while I’m happy to remove one more temptation from them, it’s a shame that we’ve come to such a sorry state of affairs.

IF ANYONE WAS IN L115 OR L116 YESTERDAY AND NOTICED ANYTHING OR ANYONE SUSPICIOUS, PLEASE REPORT IT TO PUBLIC SAFETY 425.564.4041. If you want to talk with me about anything you might have noticed, please don’t hesitate to talk to me.

If the thief is a student in our program, nothing would please me more than eliminating a bad apple from the batch. And nothing saddens me more than someone in our midst who is so desperate that they would do such a thing. However, if they are going to stoop this low, who knows what else they’re capable of doing.

There’s no room in our program – or the BCC community – for someone with such disregard for others.
